About

What I do for work

I assist our artist/photographer members with a wide variety of services including digital imaging, printing & framing, career consultation & more. In 2025 I started a series of “Wednesday Workshops”, held every Wednesday at 7pm. Topics include, but are not limited to: general support, approaching galleries, social media, life drawing, collage making, digital art techniques, website management, art history, contemporary art trends, podcasting and host documentary film screenings.

As a freelancer, I work as an artist rep and art consultant. I help connect buyers with artists they will love and find artworks that will fit seamlessly into their spaces. I also write for my friend’s art-related publications and do occasional design and marketing work.

What I do for fun

I am an avid VR enthusiast and gamer. I enjoy engaging with social media and often do so while painting in Virtual Reality (PaintingVR by Oisoi Studio) or building virtual worlds (Meta Horizon VR). While I tend to focus on the use of technology in art you are just as likely to find me painting watercolors of the spring flower blooms in Carl Schurz Park. I am also an archer and emphatic about traditional techniques such as Turkish horseback archery (Türk okçuluğu), Japanese Kyudo (弓道), and Chinese She Dao (射道).
